This page explains what we collect when you use bednesher.com, why we collect it, and how to have it removed. Bednesher is a small family-run rental: we only collect what we need to answer your enquiry and prepare your stay.
What we collect
When you send a stay request or a contact message we store the name, email address, phone number, dates, number of guests and any message you type. We also keep anonymous usage statistics about which pages are visited, so we can see what to improve.
Why we collect it
Your contact details are used to reply to you, confirm dates and arrange your stay. We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to.
Who else sees it
Form data is stored in our hosted database (Supabase, running on Lovable Cloud) and is emailed to us through EmailJS and our own email-queue function, which also sends you a confirmation copy. Visit statistics are collected by Google Tag Manager with Google Analytics, the Meta (Facebook) pixel and PostHog. Our availability calendar reads booked dates from a Google Calendar feed; no guest details are sent to it. These providers process the data only to deliver those services, and some of them are located outside the EU.
How long we keep it and how to remove it
Enquiries are kept for up to two years, and confirmed bookings for as long as bookkeeping requires. You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you by writing to bednesher@gmail.com, and we will confirm once it is done. The person responsible for this site and its data is Yoel Ben Nesher, Ma'ale Gamla, Golan Heights, Israel. This is an honest description of what the site does, not a certified legal document.
Cookies
The site stores your language choice in your browser under the key "preferred-language" in localStorage, so it can show the right language next time. Google Tag Manager, the Meta pixel and PostHog set their own cookies and browser storage for visit statistics. You can clear all of this in your browser settings at any time; nothing here is needed to browse the site.
